This privacy policy sets out how Longview CPD collects, uses and protects any information that you give when registering for a course provided by Longview CPD or a Longview CPD partner.

  • employer’s information if they are paying for the course
  • financial transaction data
  • Information on all correspondence between Longview CPD and yourself

What we do with the information we gather

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

  • Manage your course registration.
  • Inform speakers and / or venue staff of any special requirements including dietary.
  • Keep you informed and updated on course information.
  • Internal record keeping.
  • Process feedback given after completing the course.
  • We may use the information to improve our products and services.
  • We may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.
  • From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We will only contact you by email or phone.

  • Course providers – your data may be shared with the CPD provider who’s course you are registered to attend who is contracted by Longview CPD.
  • Police/Legal – in the case of certain circumstances and where required by law, we may need to disclose information without your consent, if requests are made by Government or law enforcement authorities, or for the prevention of crime or fraud.
  • We will not sell personal information to any third party.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
